Martial Arts Camp 2013 is almost here! This year we are teaming up with the Bangor YMCA, Young's MMA and Eduardo Benjamin of Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu to provide a 5 day camp designed to introduce youth ages 7-18 to martial arts and the benefits it provides.
The camp starts August 19th and runs through August 23rd and is from 9:00am to 2:00pm each day. We have a limited amount of enrollments available for this specially priced camp and we would like to see it full at the 45 person cap. There is also a 20 person minimum so if you are waiting till the last minute don't! If we do not have at least 20 kids signed up for the camp it will be canceled.
MARTiAL YOU has worked with the YMCA to reduce the fees to the following: $80.00 per child that is not a member of the YMCA and $50.00 per child that is a member of the YMCA. Check the camp details here.
On May 8th 2013, the generosity of one Massachusetts resident helped MARTiAL YOU stretch a small budget a long way. Pat Pepicelli, a Lowell Massachusetts business owner, donated almost 10,000 square feet of foam puzzle mats to MARTiAL YOU. Thank You to everyone who helped make this possible and thank you Pat for your fantastic donation! Read More...

Happy Holidays Everyone!
Here is something you may find somewhat fun. It's a video called "Enter The Santa" that was... once done. Some of our kids were challenged to spar. A prize of a HAT if they could go... so far. Place a foot upon Santa's Hat would get you one too. A Hat for your head not him or her, but YES!... only you! So watch and smile as the kids have some fun, kicking towards that HAT, so they too.... could have one.
On January 10th 2013, MARTiAL YOU is participating in a Chili's Give Back Night promotion to raise enough money to purchase updated equipment for our students. Currently about 90% of the training equipment in use by our students is between 8 and 12 years old and needs to be replaced.

I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting Project MARTiAL YOU so far! The support in our direct circle has been great, but now we need more support from those around us to make this Project a real tangible thing that our community can use and be part of.
There are so many good causes out in the world that focus on recovering from disaster, misfortune, disease and abuse. Though we are not attempting to directly feed the hungry or cure a disease we are all about promoting health, wellness, self-improvement and community which can lead to great things for each individual and society as a whole.
I am calling on everyone who believes the structure of martial arts can make a difference and all of those who have been changed by martial arts and those who know someone who has been, to spread the word and help us make this project a reality. The potential is great, the benefits are greater and the outcome for thousands can be the greatest.
Thank You Shawn Hill (Founder)
